About Me
- Christy Jo McFarland
- I am a gypsy according to my husband Ryan...I take this as a compliment as he is my best friend and rock. I always seem to have at least 2-3 jobs seasonally and my ultimate job would be to run do yoga and snowboard and get paid for it... I guess I kind of get to do that, just wish it paid the bills. I am, on a snowboard and patrol at Wolf Mountain in the winter and I teach yoga, cycling, and body pump classes at Golds Gym, Timeless Yoga, and pretty much anywhere they want me to in Ogden. I graduated from Weber State with a degree in Human Performance and studied psychology extensively. I live in an old (1890's)yellow house in Ogden..I choose NOT to have AC or TV and we are slowly in the process of fixing this old place up. I run the trails around Ogden at least 3-4 times a week and enter a few select 'races' every summer. I got to finally finish my 'ultimate' race last fall, Wasatch 100. I have an awesome family that supports my craziness and that I love with all my heart. Thought I would share some of my future adventures here, which will include running, living and breathing...not necessarily in that order. Enjoy.
